Dhaka, Bangladesh |
Lately I have been starting off conversations with "I got the job!" And the usual response is "Congratulations! What job?" I am so excited I often forget who I have told and who has not heard my exciting news!
So here you go, special update for my readers... I got a kindergarten teaching position in Bangladesh! It has been my dream, since my first trip in 2008, to return full time to live and work in Bangladesh and now my dream is coming true!
The school is called Grace International School in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It is made up of 250 expatriate students (foreigners living in Bangladesh) from 30 different countries from nursery to secondary graduation. I will have 18 or 19 kindergartners in my class. My departure date in July 30! It is coming up so fast I cannot believe it!
Things have been a little crazy at my house for the last couple of months. In February my older brother, Nathan got married to sweet Raine, Jared my younger brother graduated high school in May and leaves for university in August. My parents are moving to Germany in September, needless to say the house is a disaster of packing boxes.
I am planning on starting a 'Vlog' so you can actually see all the fun and interesting sights and sounds of Bangladesh! Once I get it up and running I will post the link on here.
Many blessings to all my readers, your prayers are greatly appreciated in this time of transition!
